PHOTOGRAPHY TUITION

The One To One Photography Tuition sessions covering both traditional and digital photography, are aimed at those who may not be able to attend the set courses, are looking for specific training not catered for in our courses, or feel they need more personal feedback on their progress.

These private photography lessons are available to both beginners and advanced students. They are adaptable to suit your own personal requirements.

Personal photography tutorials and workshops will enable you to advance your ability at any level.

A minimum of two hours is required for these sessions, tuition times are by arrangement.

COURSES AND TRAINING AT VALE OF YORK DARKROOMS

Int1. Black and White Darkroom Printing

Level: Intermediate

This course takes students past the basic fundamentals of Black & White printing through to more advanced techniques.

The course includes altering contrast in prints with variable contrast paper and localised print adjustments such as ‘dodging and burning’ techniques. As usual there are a maximum of seven places on the course to enable each participant access to their own enlarger and benefit from personal tuition.

Vale of York Darkrooms will supply all papers and chemistry

This course only covers the printing of images from already processed film - it does not cover the topic of film processing itself. Participants should therefore bring their own previously processed negatives.
