From the north side of the York ring road (B1237) take the B1363 sign posted to Helmsley. Follow this road for approximately five miles until you reach a T junction in the village of Sutton-on-the-Forest, turn right and on reaching a mini roundabout turn left towards Stillington, on reaching the next T junction in Stillington turn right; after half a mile the road bends left with a garage forecourt and fish andchip shop on the left, at this point turn right towards Sheriff Hutton and Farlington. Vale of York Darkrooms is approximately 300 yards along on the left in the Home Farm business area.
Take the A19 from Thirsk towards York and at the second roundabout signposted towards Easingwold head towards Easingwold and turn right towards Stillington signposted Stillington, Helmsley and Crayke. At the end of Stillington Main Street the road bends left with a garage forecourt and fish and chip shop on the left, at this point turn right towards Sheriff Hutton and Farlington. Vale of York Darkrooms is approximately 300 yards along on the left in the Home Farm business area.
